The famous women in this print ar Sor Juana, a seventeenth-century poet: Frida Kahlo, a twentieth-century artist; and Coyoxauqui, a pre-Hispanic goddess. Included on a small scale is one of the regional virgins of Oaxaca, La Virgen de Juquila. The figures are accompanied by Day of the Dead skeletons.
