El Santo, on the right, and the Blue Demon, on the left, were often nemeses, but also cohorts in the wrestling ring and movies. They are icons and superheroes of Mexico. Much of the Mexican population admires these men like the historical and famous people in the print wearing the wrestlers’ masks.
